1. Information We Collect

When you create an account on ProForms, we collect your name, email address, and password. When you use our services, we also collect:

  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, timestamps, and interactions with our dashboard and form builder.
  • Form submission data — data submitted through forms you create. You are the data controller for this information; we process it on your behalf.
  • Device & browser information — IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers for security and analytics.
  • Payment information — billing details are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the ProForms platform.
  • To process transactions and send related billing communications.
  • To send product updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • To monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse.

3. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We may use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics or Plausible) to understand how the platform is used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings without affecting core functionality.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with trusted third parties only as necessary to operate our service:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery.
  • Transactional email providers — for sending notifications and auto-responder emails on your behalf.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Form submission data is retained until you delete it or close your account. Upon account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@proforms.io.

8. Children’s Privacy

ProForms is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of ProForms after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
